Private GP

Emily graduated from University College Dublin in 2004. Following her initial training in hospital medicine, including Endocrinology and Elderly Care, she moved to England and qualified as a GP in 2012. During her GP training, she developed an interest in Mental Health and Women’s Health, achieving diplomas in Medicine for the Elderly (DME), Sexual and Reproductive Health (DFSRH), and Obstetrics & Gynaecology (DRCOG). Her GP experience spans over a decade, during which she has worked in local NHS practices and provided private GP services.

In addition to her expertise in general medicine, Emily is committed to delivering comprehensive women’s healthcare. She has completed the BMS Management of the Menopause Certificate and worked in a specialist menopause clinic for over 2 years. This experience, combined with her diverse qualifications, has broadened her understanding of women’s health needs, particularly during times of hormonal change. Recognising the impact of menopause and on patients’ quality of life, she strives to offer personalised consultations and treatment plans tailored to her patients’ specific needs.

Emily is passionate about providing holistic care to patients, emphasising the importance of listening to each individual and collaborating to address their concerns. Her strong belief in continuity of care drives her commitment to staying informed on the latest developments in women’s health and private GP services.

Emily lives in Bournemouth with her husband and three children. In her spare time she enjoys singing in a local choir and keeping active with racketball, the gym and pilates.
