Lindsey Durman is a highly skilled and dedicated Specialist Sonographer with a strong background in diagnostic imaging. Originally from Northern Ireland, Lindsey holds both a Bachelor of Science (BSc) and a Master of Science (MSc), combining advanced academic training with hands-on expertise to provide accurate and high-quality ultrasound services.
With over 14 years of experience, Lindsey has worked across a number of different NHS trusts, gaining a wealth of knowledge from the variation in protocols and types of work. This diverse experience has given her a broad and adaptable skill set, allowing her to deliver expert insights in a variety of sonography areas and provide optimal patient care.
Lindsey’s commitment to advancing the field extends to education, having taught Physics for Ultrasound at Durham University. In the clinical setting, she has played a vital role in supporting the education and training of Trainee Radiologists, mentored numerous trainee sonographers, and completed their competency assessments. This teaching experience demonstrates not only her expertise but also her ability to effectively communicate complex concepts and techniques to developing professionals.
Passionate about advancing in the sonography field, Lindsey continually seeks to stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices. Known for her compassionate approach, she ensures patients feel comfortable while delivering precise diagnostic results. Outside of her professional work, Lindsey enjoys spending quality time with her family, cherishing the close-knit relationships that ground and inspire her.
