What is Morpheus8?
Dr Tom Caudell explains that Morpheus 8 is a relatively new technology that provides new options for us in treating some of the signs of ageing, not just on the face, but elsewhere on the body as well. The device uses multiple tiny pins inserted into the skin and the fat underneath that releases radio-frequency energy. This causes a contraction of the soft tissues, which reduces the appearance of sagging, fine lines, and surface imperfections.
Why choose us for Morpheus8 treatment?
Dr Tom Caudell recommends The Clinic @ 78 because it is registered with and regulated by the Care Quality Commission, which is a national organisation that regulates health care facilities such as GP practises and hospitals and care homes. In the very unlikely event that things don’t go as planned, you’ve got proper backup and aftercare as well.

Wrinkle reducing injections, such as Botox, are a popular treatment used to prevent and significantly reduce the appearance of upper face lines and wrinkles.

We’ll make sure you’re comfortable during your appointment, explain the treatment to you, and get your written consent. Before we begin the procedure, we sterilise and mark your skin.
The treatment lasts just a few minutes and involves several tiny superficial injections, which only sting a little. We will also take before and after photos of the procedure.
Before your appointment, you should avoid wearing makeup. Also avoid anti-inflammatories, such as ibuprofen, for one week prior to the procedure.
Let your doctor know at least a week before the procedure if you are taking any blood-thinning medication so they can take this into account.
You can leave straight after your procedure and may have some minor swelling, redness, or bruising. If you need it, you may take paracetamol but should not take anti-inflammatories.
You can apply makeup and your usual personal products the day after the treatment.
Avoid alcohol, vigorous exercise, saunas, steam rooms, sun exposure and sunbeds for 24 hours after your treatment.
Dermal fillers help reduce visible signs of ageing, such as fine lines, wrinkles, scarring, and facial volume loss. These are usually injections containing a hyaluronic acid gel formula, used to ‘fill out’ areas of the face where age-related fat and collagen loss can cause your skin to lose its plumpness and elasticity. Popular target areas for dermal filler injections include the cheeks, jawline and around the eyes.
We’ll make you comfortable during your appointment, explain the treatment to you, and get your written consent. Before we begin the procedure, we’ll apply numbing cream for a few minutes, if necessary, then we sterilise and mark your skin. The treatment lasts 20-40 minutes and involves injections under the skin that will cause some discomfort.

You shouldn’t drink alcohol or do vigorous exercise for 24 hours after your treatment. For 2 weeks after your treatment, you should also stay away from saunas, steam rooms, sun exposure, freezing temperatures, and sunbeds.
Lip augmentation injections, also known as lip fillers, enhance the volume and shape of the lips. Usually, we use a special gel formula containing hyaluronic acid, and results can last between 6-12 months. You may want lip augmentation injections if you’re experiencing lip volume loss or asymmetry.

Morpheus 8 skin tightening treatment uses a small handheld device to reduce the signs of ageing, making skin look smoother, plumper and tighter. It’s used to treat fine lines, wrinkles, skin laxity of the face, neck and decolletage, and other body areas.
We are the only clinic in Dorset providing this revolutionary new treatment.
We’ll make you comfortable during your appointment, explain the treatment to you, and get your written consent. We will also take before and after photos.
We’ll apply numbing cream twice for about an hour before the treatment. You can relax whilst this is taking effect. We will sterilise your skin before the procedure. The treatment lasts 20-30 minutes, during which the doctor will work your skin using the morpheus8 treatment head. Which delivers multiple tiny needle punctures, along with heating from radiofrequency energy. There will be some discomfort.
If possible, refrain from wearing makeup before your appointment. Try not to take anti-inflammatories, such as ibuprofen, for one week prior to the procedure. Let your doctor know at least a week before the procedure if you are taking any blood-thinning medication so they can take this into account.
After the procedure, you can leave straight away. Your skin will be red and sore for a few days, with visible tiny pinholes on the surface. These may scab. You should not apply anything to the skin until the following day when we recommend using a non-perfumed moisturiser. Say out of the sun until swelling and redness resolve (usually a few days).
You’ll need 3-4 treatments, 6 weeks apart, and the results may take 3-6 months after the final treatment to become fully apparent.
