She relocated to the North West to undertake her GP training scheme in Stockport, Cheshire.
However, on completion she returned to the Dorset coast and has remained ever since in a variety of roles. She has since done extra training in family planning and holds the FRSH qualification with LOC for IUD’s and SDI’s. (Coils and implants) She also has additional skills in Dermatology after studying for the Cardiff Diploma in Practical Dermatology. Following this, she worked for 3 years as a clinical assistant in Poole Hospital Dermatology Department. She currently works as GP partner in a local practice.
Having spent time during her training in Australia, New Zealand, and Canada, she loves to travel even with the logistical challenge of 3 small children and a husband to keep her company. She spends her rare free time attempting to keep fit, reading and catching up with friends.
